Our niece Miss S turned 1 last week, I managed to get some gorgeous photos with her Uncle / my Husband Michael…. aren’t  they just adorable together? Nothing better than a relaxed & spontaneous photoshoot… But it doesn’t have to be spontaneous, email me to organise a session just as fun & relaxed!

26weeks pregnant, this little belly has featured a couple of times already on this blog at 12 weeks and 18weeks with busy lives & holidays the 4 week update hasn’t worked out as planned but still fun to see her belly grow…

So many fun ideas for this shoot, and more to come for the next :)

If you wanted to look up the defination of adore, there would be a photo of my Staffies, their breed is reknown for being such people dogs… and my 2 are no exception… My dogs adore me, and I adore them… they are my furry babies… Cant help but share these couple while I’m working on the client gallery… I photographed a beautiful belly on Friday she didn’t stray far from me… and just wanted to be part of the fun !!melbournepetphotographer

Gemma (my other half of Le Photography ) & I escaped the big smoke and took her kids on a road trip to Koroit last week, about 3hours from Melbourne… after the little one had a nap on the 2nd day we escaped to Tower Hill.. We spied Koalas, got the older kids to “roar” like lions, chased the toddler, and drove past some Emu’s and some awesome old Volacanic rock…

10-1-10 Mail  -the furry babies got mail today, from their awesome vet Rhonda in the village… Looks like its jab season again! Family trip to the vet is in order with the 2 dogs and a cat… Mind you much easier than the 8 pups we had last time we scheduled a visit :)

11-1-10 Hot    - Yup that says 51 out and 32 in… and as I type (11:28pm) its 36 out and 34 in… The furry babies have all had a quick cold water rinse, much to their initial dismay… they seemed to understand eventually… maybe next summer we’ll have airconditioning…

12-1-10 Washer - Not many days you get spoilt for photo moments, but today I had a hard choice between Ash playing guitar, Atticus mooching with Bec and Scarlett washing dishes! Scarlett won today, she is 3 and started crying when we told her she had to stop washing and eat dinner… So excited that some of my fav little people have come to stay for a few days :) love it…
13-1-10 Science – An excursion to the scienceworks, loved the old wood and metal of the pumping station
14-1-10 Rad – Our 19kg box arrived today from Denmark, leftover luggage from our honeymoon! Mostly clothes that I bought for all our favourite little people… Including this awesome sleeveless hoodie… European clothing ROCKS!
15-1-10 Left – my lil people left today for home… we still have the chalk reminants on the front doorstep.. I think i’ll leave them…
16-1-10 Picnic – father & son… picnicking in the park with friends, little Oscar had a ball making new friends
17-1-10 Ketchup – Danish hotdog ketchup arrived in our 19kg box last week, so Husband and I had hotdogs tonight, put together just like those from the wagons around Copenhagen yum! sooo many memories :)
18-1-10 Husband – I don’t encourage him to smoke, but I did buy him the lighter… He is my forever
19-1-10 Worms – Husband bought me this bookmark for Christmas, cant get enough of books at the moment…
20-1-10 Trippin- roadtrip with some friends for a couple of days, some nice country air is what the doctor or should I say husband.. ordered..
21-1-10 Chick – my own lil rock chick niece Scarlett
22-1-10 Vultures- Them Crooked Vultures – Dave Grohl / Josh Homme / John Paul Jones … awesome…
23-1-10 Kelli – a BBQ birthday for Kelli’s Dad… after catching the scraps she was out for the night..
24-1-10 Light – Random email from Husband today while I was at work, “Im going to rewire the house today, any requests?” … Made me laugh, he sounded no different to asking if I wanted something from the supermarket! Came home from work and he’s put up some downlights in our living/hallway and new office :) … Have I mentioned how much my Husband rocks? btw he is a licensed Electrician
25-1-10 Hooked – Finished book 5 tonight, 2books in 10days… Sookie Stackhouse Im hooked..
26-1-10 Up – Was a pretty quiet Aussie Day today.. Gemma, Garrison, Bec & the boys joined us for a bbq.. Lanie rocked up just in time to watch & “UP” :) the boys fav… Eman thought it was neat to have Husband join him on the floor, and covered him with a blanket consisting of Dad’s shirt and Mum’s shoes… cute :)
27-1-10 Ignore – Checked the mail to recieve a 30% off full rolls of fabric ad… Ignore Ignore Ignore… yes I have ideas in mind… NO now is the wrong timing.. ignore..

Happy Australia Day! We have great weather here in Melbourne and are spending the day at home with the BBQ and some great friends.

But nothing beats a picnic! A couple of weeks ago we met some friends in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens down by the Lily pond. The location was gorgeous, so green and lush, such great inspiration for photos and a grand idea which we’re going to launch soon! So stay tuned…
